With a background studying Psychology at University and a core interest in Childcare, I bring a strong understanding of human behaviour and communication to my role as Managing Director. These skills help me build meaningful relationships, assess candidates with depth, and maintain a supportive, people-focused culture.

Since establishing the Hertfordshire branch in 2008, I’ve gained wide-ranging experience across roles including Recruitment Consultant, Business Development Manager, Operations Director and now Managing Director. This journey has given me a clear insight into client needs and the qualities that make an exceptional Wizard candidate.

I began my career at Wizard Staff Solutions in 2019 as a Recruitment Executive and have since progressed into the role of Recruitment Executive Team Leader and Business Support Officer.

I hold a Level 6 Qualification in Childhood and Youth Studies, graduating with a 2:1 in 2019, and joined Wizard straight after completing my degree. This academic background provides me with a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and best practice within early years settings, which directly supports my work in early years recruitment.

In my current position, I work closely with internal teams to build and maintain strong working relationships, playing an active role in recruitment while providing ongoing support across the wider business.

My work is driven by a genuine passion for the childcare sector, ensuring that nurseries and childcare settings are supported by reliable, compassionate professionals who make a positive impact on children’s early development.

I began my journey with Wizard Staff Solutions in 2010 as a Recruitment Consultant in our Hertfordshire branch. Over the years, I have progressed through the business to my current role as Operations Director. This journey has given me a deep understanding of both Recruitment and the Childcare sector, enabling me to share valuable insight and expertise with the wider team. Nursery settings play a vital role in providing safe, nurturing environments whereby Children can learn, grow, and thrive during their earliest years.

I am genuinely passionate about supporting and strengthening the Childcare sector by placing high-quality candidates into every nursery, ensuring Children are cared for in a fun, secure, and supportive environment at all times. I am now a very wise and loyal Wizard having started employment with Wizard Staff Solutions back in 2009. I also have over 26 years working in recruitment. I manage the day to day processes in accounts and am the Wizard that pays all the staff on a weekly basis. I am very passionate about Wizard, I love working here and wouldn’t want to work anywhere else. I genuinely believe we are the best Childcare agency in the industry. I started my journey with Wizard at the beginning of 2025 as a Recruitment Executive and have since progressed into the role of Compliance and Safeguarding Administrator. In this role, I act as a go-to source of knowledge for safeguarding and compliance-related queries across the business. My background includes experience across various areas of healthcare, particularly within maternity, where I gained my Certificate of Higher Education in Midwifery. This helped build a strong understanding of safeguarding, policies, and risk assessments. I have also worked in a nursery, which further strengthened my passion for caring for others. Now at Wizard, I’m proud to continue bringing compassion and dedication to my role, helping to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and vulnerable individuals. I enjoy working closely with others across the business, continuing to learn and grow in my role, and helping to create a safe, supportive environment for everyone.

I joined Wizard in 2018, beginning my journey as an agency worker across multiple nurseries. I was later recruited into the internal resourcing team at the Egham office and, in 2021, promoted to Recruitment Consultant. Having hands-on experience across each stage of the process — from working directly in nurseries to recruiting outstanding practitioners and supporting client needs — has been incredibly valuable.

I am passionate about working within the Childcare industry and take pride in supporting my clients with their staffing requirements. Building strong, trusting relationships with both clients and candidates is something I value highly, as I believe it is key to long-term success.

I began my Childcare career after completing my level 2 Qualification in Childcare, progressing into a Deputy Room Leader role across both the Preschool and Under 2’s rooms. This allowed me to build strong skills while supporting children at key stages of their development.

Alongside my nursery experience, I worked as a Childcare Host and Entertainer for TUI in Spain and Greece, where I combined childcare with creativity, confidence and a load of fun to create memorable experiences for children and families.

Since joining Wizard Staff Solutions, I have moved into the role of Recruitment Executive, where I can use my Childcare background, people skills and enthusiasm to match fantastic candidates with roles they’ll truly thrive in.
