We are looking for an experienced Regional Manager to join our small independent nursery group. Are you passionate and enthusiastic with a wealth of experience within the Childcare industry?

The successful candidate will form part of the existing Senior Management team across 2 nursery settings with the intention of acquiring more nurseries over the next few years. This exciting position will be operationally working closely with the Nursery owner and Deputy Managers to support, guide and motivate two well established teams within Buckinghamshire.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build relationships with all staff across the company to support and motivate them to reach their full potential.
  • Enhance and improve services to obtain and maintain an Outstanding Ofsted rating across all settings.
  • To update company policies in line with revised legislation or approved practice.
  • Operationally guide the current management team to ensure that a high level of service is delivered and that the nurseries are compliant in relation to health and safety, Ofsted and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that people, financial and customer service performance is delivered in line with budgets and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure that there is a key focus on training, learning and development amongst all personnel to further the company’s business plan of growth.
  • Remain committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children whilst ensuring that all team members commit to the same ethos.
  • Oversee all budgets regarding staff costings.
  • Oversee and ensure Health & Safety for the company
  • To provide on-site support to all new nursery openings and incoming staff.
  • In addition to your daily duties you will be expected to take a strong leadership role in setting the appropriate standards and ensuring outstanding practice within the nurseries.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • A minimum of 2 years management experience
  • Full driving licence with access to own car
  • Detailed experience and understanding of Quality Assurance and Compliance. A British Safety Council Training Qualification is desired.
  • Excellent knowledge of Ofsted requirements and standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and latest EYFS framework including the impact that this has with Ofsted.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Level 6 qualification preferable (Level 3+ would be considered if the applicant has solid management experience.

Working Pattern:

  • 40 hours per week across 5 days

The salary for this role is £40000 – £45000 per annum
